Fund for helping widows and orphans affected by Russia's military invasion of Ukraine

Since Russia invaded Ukraine many stories proliferate in media about Ukraine’s valiant resistance against overwhelming firepower and Russia’s barbaric methods that indiscriminately kill thousands of civilians, flatten high-rise apartments and destroy whole towns & villages including civic infrastructure leaving some towns with no running water, no sewage or electricity. Plus, many pictures of soldiers’ funerals.

We believe for every 1,000 soldiers killed in war at least 50% or 500 families are forever broken: A wife and mother has become a widow and the couple’s children are now orphans.

Media Cafes’ Ukraine: Widows and Orphans Fund hopes the address or alleviate some the pain that women and children left behind will suffer after their husbands and fathers are killed while defending their homeland.

Assistance to the needy will be carried out by creating a Music & Dance Events Platform that leverage information entertainment to generate funds that will be disbursed directly into the accounts of Ukrainian widows and their children.

BECOME MUSIC & DANCE EVENT HOST/S: You will need: A video monitor, big screen or minimum 40 cm (diagonal across) and a comcast connection to your laptop or device so you play music directly from YouTube Music Premium, or create a music/dance party playlist.

If the event will not be at your home or basement or garage but at a public venue you will be responsible for renting the venue, and may want to send venue managers a link to this site to help negotiate the lowest price to rent the venue.

You’ll need to register your event here with date, time, place, city and country and pay a $200 ‘Event Commitment Deposit’ which you’ll deduct from first ten event attendees.

At the evening’s end you will

1. First play a 15-minute Media Cafes video so viewers and attendees will know more about Media Cafes’ main business and Interactive Participation opportunities developed by Media Cafes.
2. Second you will announce Attendees are invited to say a few words about our party platform concept as fund raiser…like a very short video review on your smart phone for posting on our site.

MAKE DIRECT CONTRIBUTION: You can make a direct contribution here of $100-$200 with or without becoming an event host. We would still request that you register your name (or Nickname) and your city/country under the Direct Contributions column so others can compare direct contributions against incoming revenues from music and dance events.

BUY TICKETS HERE: You can also buy and download event tickets here direct at $20. But since this program is being launched in Canada at start of August 2020 we suggest you check first if any music & dance events are slated for hosting in your city or country. If not, we’d like to suggest you be first in your city to register to be Music & Dance event host for Media Cafes’ Ukraine Widows and Orphans Fund.
